Story
The Banbury United family is still mourning the loss, earlier this year, of club stalwart and volunteer, Simon Pearce.
Simon was a dedicated and long-serving member of our football club community. A ball boy, he was the Club’s mascot throughout the 1990s and remained a loyal home and away supporter for many years, including following the women’s team. Simon had also volunteered his time as assistant kit man.
Simon spent many months being cared for by Katharine House Hospice, spreading joy up there, just as he did at The Spencer Stadium.
We are getting together in the off-season, to raise money for Katharine House, to keep active as a team and to remember our friend.
Katharine House Hospice provides specialist palliative care for adults with incurable illnesses. Its amazing team supports the patient and their loved ones too, ensuring that every moment matters. Your donation will mean more people can receive this care.
