Tewkesbury Town Band provide the opportunity for anyone to learn to play a brass instrument and join the training band completely free of charge! Learning an instrument and being part of a group like this can completely change lives, for the better!

Every year, our training band aims to go on an annual band camp (although this year will be the first since the covid pandemic), spreading their music a bit further afield than Gloucestershire and Worcestershire! These camps are brilliant for inspiring and motivating young (and young at heart!) players to continue with their music making and it helps great friendships to develop. Unfortunately we are not able to provide this opportunity completely free of charge, however, we try to make it as cheap as possible to allow everyone who wants to, to take part. This is where you come in! We are looking for donations, big or small, to help keep the costs affordable for everyone please! Any money raised over the amount we need for Band Camp will go towards continuing to provide lessons, music, membership and uniform completely free of charge!

Band Camp 2023 will see us head to Derbyshire from the 4th - 6th August. On the Saturday the band will play at the Crich Tramway Museum in their bandstand, and on the Sunday we will play on the bandstand in the grounds of Nottingham Castle!
