Story
We are running this half marathon for the Galilee Foundation, a lifeline of hope for Palestinians. By relieving poverty and opening doors to education, the Foundation empowers young people through learning, culture, and community, while also partnering with grassroots organizations to preserve Palestinian culture, heritage, art, and identity. Together, these efforts give the next generation the strength to dream of a life filled with dignity, opportunity, and freedom.
Every mile we run is carried on the memory of every Palestinian life lost, and with each step we hold the hope of rebuilding futures where children can learn without fear, families can live in safety, and communities can thrive. We run conscious of our own privilege: that we do not wake each morning wondering how to feed our children, where to find shelter, or how to protect our loved ones from bombs. The very least we can give is our endurance, a small reflection of the resilience required for a ceasefire, for justice, and for freedom.
With your support, remembrance becomes action, and grief can be transformed into a living legacy of hope for Palestinians.
