Story

Support The Bandits on Tour — And Help Empower Young Lives Through Cricket

This weekend (13th -15th June), The Bandits — a spirited and passionate cricket team — are incredibly fortunate to be heading off on tour, sharing laughs, building friendships, and doing what they love most: playing cricket. We know that not everyone has these kinds of opportunities, which is why we want to use this tour to give back.

We’re proud to be supporting Lord’s Taverners, a charity that uses cricket to empower young people facing the challenges of inequality. Whether it’s through accessible cricket programmes, disability sports, or community initiatives, the Lord’s Taverners are changing lives — and we want to play our part in helping them continue this vital work.

That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for sponsors to support our tour and, more importantly, this fantastic cause. To make it fun and engaging, we’re inviting you to:

• Sponsor us per run scored or wicket taken over the weekend — giving The Bandits extra motivation to put in a big performance!

• Or, simply donate whatever you can — every penny counts and will go towards making cricket accessible for young people who need it most.

Whether it’s £1 per wicket, 50p per run, or a generous one-off donation, your support will not only boost team morale but help create opportunities for others to experience the joy and power of cricket.

Thank you for backing The Bandits — on and off the field.

Let’s make this tour about more than just the game.

Let’s play it forward. 🏏
