Bank of Ireland's fundraiser for Alzheimer's Society

Bank of Ireland UK is raising money for Alzheimer's Society

Team: CN Charity Walk 2026 - Wales

Charity trek · 12 June 2026

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Collaboration Network - Vulnerability Week Charity Walk 2026

On 12 June 2026, Bristol based staff from Bank of Ireland UK will be hiking 12.3 miles from Brecon in aid of the Alzheimer's Society - as part of a national day of walking where 8 groups will cover a total of 98.2 miles across different UK events.

The walk will be led by IE Hub, and every step we take is for the 982,000 people living with dementia in the UK right now.

We're raising funds as part of the Collaboration Network's national target of £9,820 - £1 for every 100 people living with dementia. Every pound you donate goes directly to the Alzheimer's Society to fund care, research and support for people and families whose lives have been changed by dementia.

Your support is very much appreciated.
