From Bournville to Moor Pool – A Garden Suburb Heritage Run 🏃🏻‍♀️

As someone who is passionate about heritage , and live and work in south Birmingham’s two unique garden suburbs: Bournville and Moor Pool, both created from a shared vision of affordable, quality housing with green spaces and community amenities. I am planning on running between them as part of the Moor Pool 5k challenge to raise money to improve the community facilities at Moor Pool that are at the heart of Moor Pool Estate. The 5k will be completed on the historic Moor Pool Estate , the route there and back will trace pieces of history connected to the creation of these two garden suburbs, from Cadbury’s to Nettlefold, via chocolate, canals and John Sutton Nettlefold’s home!
