I'm walking to support Alzheimers on behalf of my dad and for every person affected by this terrible disease.

3 years ago, my dad was diagnosed with mixed Dementia and Alzheimers, the journey that we are going through has been a roller coaster of emotions not only us but also for dad, as not understanding what is happening, I can honestly say I'm so proud of my dad, now dad short term memory has gone, and it's so upsetting when he forgets where he is, where to go not recognise his own personal things and not always remembering who we are

Most days I now get to see him and when you see how dementiaaffects them it's heart breaking
