As a former camper and counselor, and now a proud member of the Board of Trustees, I want you to know that Frost Valley continues to work hard to create wonderful opportunities for deserving children and families. We support kids and families from all backgrounds, and school groups from all areas, and give them opportunities to experience the great outdoors in NY state. Your support sustains summer campers and provides year-round programs that unite families, students, and community members through experiential learning in nature.

Giving New Opportunities to ALL

FV continues to work hard to bring new opportunities to our summer campers and our spring and autumn guests.

We welcomed a new non-profit partner who serves children in foster care system and in high-risk homes, welcoming 20 new campers this past summer.

We launched bike-riding on the trails on our property and started a new bike adventure trip in Vermont.

We developed an “Art-in-Nature” program which blended environmental education with artistic expression, introduced a fiber arts curriculum, and introduced new projects such as natural ink and dye making, all to help young people explore their “inner artist!”

This year, FV Staff have developed new weekend programs so that more people can learn while in the great outdoors. Here are a few:

- "Discover the Outdoors" for educators & prospective school groups

- “Embrace the Outdoors” for hikers during peak leaf peeping season.

- Additional “Autism Support” and “LiveStrong” weekends.

Frost Valley helps young people feel included in a world that continues to be difficult to navigate. Help us bring kids to this wonderful place.
