Mum's passion was teaching Maths. From her first steps as a secondary school teacher, she was always looking to reach people of all abilities to get them to love Maths as much as she did.

Mum's work was wide. She taught at the Open University, which led to her being involved in forming the Spode group for maths education, and then writing her own Maths text books for Wiley and Maths Is Jugglers. In later years, she was most proud of her work with those who found Maths the hardest, and MEI (Maths in Education and Industry) is the closest charity we know to her mission.

Mum's enthusiasm never waned, and we'd like to celebrate that energy and commitment by supporting this wonderful charity.
