Barber Jon's Three Peak Challenge · 13 September 2025

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Thank you so much for visiting and supporting this challenge! 🙏

This weekend, I’m taking on the UK National Three Peaks Challenge — hiking the three highest peaks in the UK: Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon — all within three days. But here’s the twist: I’ll be carrying a full-sized barber chair 💈 on my back the entire time, with the goal of cutting hair at the top of each mountain! ✂️🏔️

I’m raising £10,000 to support five incredible charities that each hold a special place in my heart. Your donation — no matter how big or small — will make a huge difference. Please share, like, and get involved so we can spread the word and maybe even start a movement of extreme barbering, proving that you can achieve anything if you set your mind to it. 💪💈✨

🧩 National Autistic Society (NAS)

The National Autistic Society (NAS) is the UK’s largest charity dedicated to supporting autistic people and their families. For over 60 years, they’ve worked to make sure every autistic person can live a full, happy, and supported life. 🧠💙

Autism is a lifelong developmental condition that affects how people communicate, process information, and relate to others. NAS works to ensure that the world is a more inclusive, understanding place.

They provide:

Specialist schools and educational support for autistic children

Resources and helplines for families and carers

Workplace training and autism-friendly practices

Campaigns for faster diagnosis, equal rights, and public awareness

Despite growing understanding, many autistic people still face huge barriers — from isolation to unemployment, mental health issues to discrimination.

NAS is fighting for a future where:

Every autistic person is accepted, understood, and included

Support is tailored and accessible at every stage of life

Public services are trained and ready to meet their needs

Your donation helps NAS deliver life-changing support, build inclusive communities, and continue their nationwide advocacy. Thank you for supporting this vital mission. 🌟
