Barclays Northampton is raising money for Trussell
Donations cannot currently be made to this page

Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) - 27th April || Scafell Pike - June 29th || Ben Nevis - 28th September

We’re an anti-poverty charity & community of food banks, working together to ensure no one in the UK needs a food bank, while providing practical support for people left without enough money. (Please note we're unable to forward funds onto individual food banks, funds raised here go to Trussell)

Story

The Challenge

A group of 25+ adventurous colleagues across the Barclays GFED organisation in Northampton have come together the climb the 3 highest peaks of Wales, England & Scotland across 3 weekends in 2024. Whilst taking on the challenge we are aiming to fundraise for the Trussell Trust who have a vision for a UK without the need for food banks. Barclays will generously match all donations.

The Partnership

The partnership between the Trussell Trust and Barclays aims to build awareness of the help available to people facing financial hardship and increase access to the support they're entitled to.

The partnership also hopes to empower food banks themselves to tackle the underlying causes of poverty in the area they serve - because they know what's best for their community .

The Trussell Trust

Our vision is for a UK without the need for food banks.

We say this because it’s not right that anyone cannot afford their own food. That’s why we are working towards a just, compassionate future, where no one should have to use a food bank to get by.

Our vision is ambitious, but we know that if we work together it is possible. We can create a future where nobody goes hungry, because nobody will allow it – when we work Together for Change.
