Barhale, Galliford Try and Phased Electrical Services Unite for 67-Mile Charity Walk – Project 67 · 10 October 2025

Construction Sport has been founded to support the health of the construction industry, by using the power of sport we promote the huge benefits it gives with regards to mental and physical health. Through a sport we can build teams and save lives.

Story

Barhale, Galliford Try and Phased Electrical Services are joining forces to take on Project 67, a 67-mile walk following the River Thames from Marlow to Tower Bridge over 24 hours. The challenge aims to raise vital funds and awareness for Construction Sport, a charity dedicated to supporting mental health in the construction industry.

Throughout the walk, the teams will carry and share a single 10kg medicine ball, symbolizing the heavy burden of mental health struggles. Passing the ball between team members highlights how collaboration and support can help lighten the load during tough times.

This event is more than just a physical challenge. It’s a powerful demonstration of teamwork, resilience, and solidarity in raising awareness for mental health across the construction sector.

In preparation for the challenge, the team will follow a 15-week training plan generously sponsored by Dean Clarke, founder of The Inside Edge, a leading provider of mental and physical training. This partnership reinforces the event’s core message: that building strength both mentally and physically is a team effort.

Support Barhale, Galliford Try and Phased-Electrical-Services as they walk together along the Thames to make a difference. Every step taken and every pound raised brings the industry closer to better mental health awareness and support.
