Story
Further to last year's Fun Run at Coppermills WTW, we are taking part again this year in Thames Water's 10km Loop Fun Run for WaterAid, this time at Walton-on-Thames WTW. Our Barhale runners: Alex Tatterson, Eoin Joyce, Joe Napoli, Melvyn Perera, Nick Cutts, Owen Mills, Richard Van Gelder, Robert Dalzell, Samantha Barratt, Tarcisio Ramalhao and Tudor Popa, will each be taking on a minimum of one 10km loop, with some choosing to undertake more over a 4-hour period to raise money for this worthy cause.
WaterAid is an international not-for-profit, determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation.
Since 1981, WaterAid has directly reached 28 million people with clean water; 28 million with decent toilets; and 26 million with good hygiene. Only by tackling these three essentials in ways that last can people change their lives for good.
All funds raised will go towards WaterAid's work to bring clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene to communities in Madagascar, in partnership with Thames Water.
We are supporting WaterAid because clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene are essential human rights and must be a normal part of everyone's daily lives. With your help, we can change normal for good - together.
