We’re Friends of Barn Croft, the Parent Teacher Association for Barn Croft Primary School. We’re raising funds for Project Playground: a plan to transform our Key Stage 2 playground, which currently has no fixed play equipment.

But this project is about much more than a playground. It’s about creating a space where children can build confidence, form friendships, stay active, and experience the joy and freedom of play.

Inclusivity is at the heart of Barn Croft. Our school supports 50% more children with significant and long-term Special Educational Needs than the national average. Research shows that thoughtfully designed play spaces foster inclusive play that has physical, social and emotional benefits for all.

Every donation, big or small, will help us to create a playground that benefits not only today’s pupils, but generations of children in our community to come.
