Story
We’re running the 2026 London Marathon for the NSPCC, and we need your support.
In April 2026, Alex, John and Baker will be taking on 26.2 miles through the streets of London to raise money for the NSPCC, a charity that protects children, supports families in crisis, and ensures every child has someone fighting in their corner.
For us, this isn’t just a race.
We’re running in memory of our dear friend Nick Smith, and will be taking to the start line with his brothers and his daughter. Nick was a passionate supporter of the NSPCC and spent years helping organise fundraising events, encouraging people to get involved, and bringing the community together around a cause he cared deeply about. Running together now is our way of honouring him and continuing something that meant a great deal to him.
This is also a community effort. Alongside the marathon, we’ll be organising local events in Barnt Green to bring people together, raise awareness, and build momentum towards our fundraising goal.
Every pound you give goes directly towards:
• Childline counsellors who answer a child’s call for help every 25 seconds
• Specialist support services for children experiencing abuse, trauma or neglect
• Prevention and early-intervention programmes that can change the course of a child’s life before crisis point
Your donation, no matter the size, genuinely matters. It brings us closer to our target — and brings a child closer to safety.
Thank you for supporting us, sharing our page, and helping us turn 26.2 miles (and a whole village’s energy) into something powerful and lasting.
Let’s do this — for every child, and for Nick.
