St Columba’s exists to give everyone who needs it the very best Hospice Care. We provide support to patients and their families in our hospice facility and reach out to people in their homes and local communities. We couldn’t do it without our amazing supporters!

Story

Hi All,

We are hoping to hope to raise funds for St Columba's Hospice Care, who provides palliative and end-of-life care for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. They're an independent charity at the heart of our local community and have been offering free, flexible and person-centred care and support to patients and their families for over 40 years.

Barratt will be part taking in the Pentland challenge on the 19th May- made up of 2 routes:

Gold Route:

Distance: 17.5km (approximately 11 miles)

6 Hills Approximately 1,000m of ascent

Time: 6-8 hours (approximately)

Silver Route:

2 Hills Distance: 11km (approximately 7 miles)

Time 4-6 hours (approximately)

Here’s what your donation can provide:

£10 can provide a little box of thoughts to help a child through bereavement.

£20 could provide one hour of specialist Hospice at Home training for a family carer.

£35 could pay for one hour of specialist nurse-led pain & symptom control for an outpatient.

£150 could pay for a day of palliative care education for care home and homeless shelter staff.
