Story
Please support our Barratt Redrow colleagues as they take on the London to Brighton Bike Ride, raising vital funds for BrightPIP in 2026.
Having a baby is supposed to be one of the happiest and most rewarding times in your life. However, the reality is often quite different.
Many parents struggle in silence and don’t receive the support they need. Expecting or caring for a baby can stir up powerful emotions and even past traumas. Anxiety, depression and anger are surprisingly common. Add sleep deprivation, bonding issues or behavioural problems to the mix, and it can quickly feel overwhelming.
BrightPIP supports Sussex-based parents and babies up to the age of two. Through individual therapy and group sessions, we help strengthen the parent-infant relationship. There’s a huge demand for our services, particularly for families following birth trauma, impacted by their mental health or facing challenges like poverty, homelessness or domestic abuse. We receive referrals from GPs, Health Visitors and Midwives and too often families are left waiting for support.
BrightPIP has a highly experienced team of clinicians who make a real difference, but demand continues to grow. That’s where you come in - helping us raise funds so that we can expand our reach and support more families.
By supporting our Barratt Redrow team on this challenge you are helping to give families the support they deserve at one of the most important time of their lives. Together we can help more parents feel supported and more babies grow up feeling safe, loved and secure.
