On Sunday 21st September 2025 Barry and Scott will be running the Berlin Marathon to raise money for Institute of cancer research, this charity was specifically chosen due to their dedication and hard work in their fight against cancer, ICR work closely with other funding organisations including cancer research, Breast Cancer Now and the welcome trust.

Barry and Scott have witnessed the devasting effect cancer can have on the individual and their families, Barry recently recovered from cancer and Scott’s mum recently passed away. There are colleagues, friends and families who we all know who are currently suffering from cancer or recently recovered from this horrific disease. Doing the marathon is a way we can increase awareness of the plight of cancer sufferers and raise much needed funds for research.

The good news is this is no ordinary marathon Run, Kilts were donned with the expectation that the auld dudelsach (bagpipes) will be played through the iconic Brandenburg gate all the way to the finish on 17 Juni Strasse.
