Through your kindness, TWT is making a real difference to the people of the Waterberg, a discrete area of South Africa, north of Johannesberg in the Limpopo basin. TWT provides a welfare nurse called Sister Grace to meet the needs of all the school children throughout the Waterberg and their families, providing sex education, addressing mental health issues and feeding the hungry to name a few of her responsibilities. Last year, TWT enabled every teenage girl in the Waterberg to go to school for all of every month, and in one year teenage pregnancies fell to 0. Sadly not this year, but there are many fewer than would be the case without the help of Sister Grace. Providing school uniforms and shoes so that every child can go to school, no matter what their circumstances, is another TWT service. Another is investing in educating the young people about the importance of their environment and the wildlife, and helping to reduce poaching. As a result, some become wildlife rangers. The list is long, but all that TWT does helps to provide health and hope to the people of the Waterberg. Thank you very much for your donation. It makes a real difference to a small part of Africa.
