Challenge Update

The challenge was successfully completed on July 26th.

Here are the main details of the event:

5.45 AM start at Snowdon

10.05 PM Pen y Fan conquered

Bart, Pollyanna and Nick from Kubota, UK will be climbing the Welsh 3 Peak Challenge on Saturday 26th July 2025 in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.

We will be joined by Stephen Ball our dedicated getaway driver who will be supporting us every step of the way and sacrificing 3 days of his time to support us through our mission.

We have all been affected directly or indirectly by Prostate Cancer. It is an issue very close to our hearts.

We are all over 50 and middle aged! This is no easy task and we are undergoing a strict training regime which is taking a bit of time and patience considering two of us are very out of shape and unfit!!

Based on statistics, only 40% of people are able to complete the challenge within 24 hours. We plan to start at 5AM and finish at 10PM with the AI designed plan as below:

**Total Climb Time:**

- Snowdon: 5 hours (up and down) 1,085 meters (3,561 feet)

- Cadair Idris: 4 hours (up and down) 893 meters (2,930 feet)

- Pen y Fan: 2.5 hours (up and down) 886 meters (2,907 feet)

**Total Transportation Time:** Approximately 4 hours

**Total Breaks:** Approximately 2 hours

The route covers 17 miles (27.4km)

Ascent of 2334 metres (7657ft)

However, we are determined to smash this in support of our colleagues and family members that have had their lives drastically impacted by Prostate Cancer. We will not quit no matter what.
