Event 1: 90 children from Baschurch Primary School are running the Shropshire Primary School's Half Marathon!

All children will complete 12 miles in school and/or at home before running their final 1.1 mile at West Midlands Showground on Saturday April 12th.

Event 2: All children from Baschurch Primary School are running a marathon! In their classes, children will walk or run around a 1/2 mile course on the Corbet field as many times as they can in 30 minutes with the aim of every class completing a marathon (or further!) as a team.

Children with Cancer are the leading childhood cancer charity in the UK, supporting families and childhood cancer research since 1988. Over the last 35 years, they have helped developed kinder treatments, improved public and scientific understanding of childhood cancer and raised over £300 million.

Their work has contributed significantly to a marked increase in childhood cancer survival rates and improved quality of life for patients. All money raised goes towards funding research, supporting families and raising awareness.

Between them, our children will run at least 1178 miles, wouldn't it be amazing to raise £1 for every mile?
