On Friday 26th June 2026 I will be setting off on a 3-day cycle ride from London to Paris because I believe that autistic people deserve better.

My glorious grandson, Toby (in the picture), was diagnosed with autism when he was three. He is a very very wonderful boy who loves his family, horses, tractors and riding his bike. He brings so much to the world and to those around him. Unfortunately, the world isn’t always understanding or accessible for Toby and autistic people - in my small way I trying to help remedy this.

More than 254,000 people in England are currently waiting for an autism assessment, and many families report receiving little support following diagnosis. Behind every statistic is a person facing barriers to education, employment, inclusion and understanding.

Our team of cyclists will be pushing ourselves through long days, tired legs and tough miles because autistic people and their families deserve better support and opportunities.
