As part of Batch Running Club, in Altrincham, our charity sponsor is Trafford Carers. We have some carers who are part of our run club, and it's a cause really close to our hearts for many reasons.

Trafford Carers supports unpaid carers in recognising their own needs, improving their physical and mental wellbeing, and ensuring they are fully understood, valued, and supported in their caring role.

They work with carers as young as 5 and as old as 93. 1 in 2 of us will become an unpaid carer at some point in our lives, meaning 1 in 2 of us will need caring for in our lives.
