Buy a (virtual) Bingo Ball!
This Sunday, myself and my two boys Alfie & Harry, are continuing to fundraise for The Hospice of the Good Shepherd, who provided end of life care for my wife Michelle, during her final 2 weeks.
Sadly, Michelle passed away in November 2024 at just 43 years young 11 months after being diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour. Since then we have set about raising money for the Hospice, who rely so much on donations to continue the care that they give to others in their final stages of life.
We are holding a BBQ & Bingo event where we live, and we're asking people if they would consider buying a 'virtual' Bingo ball for a minimum donation of £1 - any number between 1 & 90.
It can be your favourite number, or a number that relates to a wonderful memory you may have - just simply donate and feel free to put a comment about why that number is special to you, or it could be just a random number chosen of course, no reason needed!!
We're aiming to raise £500 from the event, for the Hospice, so all donations are hugely appreciated!
The Hospice did a lovely article on our family's story, which you can read here: https://hospiceofthegoodshepherd.com/michelles-special-hospice-christmas/
