Berry Bros.& Rudd’s English Wine Walk | 100km for MND

Fundraising for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation
£2,577
raised of £3,000 target
This September, 100+ colleagues from Berry Bros. & Rudd will be walking 100km to raise £100k for our charity partner My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.

Story

This September, myself and 100 of my colleagues will be walking 100km to raise £100k for our charity partner, My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.

We will take our first steps of this great journey at dawn on Thursday 19th September. We will depart near the dramatic chalk cliffs of Beachy Head, East Sussex. We will then head west and inland, trekking on flint paths over rolling hills and through the beautiful landscape of the South Downs.

Along the three-day hike, we’ll be visiting our English Wine producers, Rathfinny Wine Estate and Wiston Estate Winery, with the final stretch for our well earnt glass of fizz (or two) at Hambledon Vineyard.

Our goal is to raise £100,000 for our charity partner My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, a charity started by the late Scottish Rugby legend Doddie Weir in 2017. Motor Neuron Disease affects one in 300 here in the UK. Half of the people diagnosed die within 24 months, a third within one year. There is currently no cure.
