We provide expert care and support to young people with cancer

Story

BCIA's nominated charity is the Teenage Cancer Trust and we are asking members for donations at the 2023 awards, and throughout the year as part of an ongoing fundraiser.

The association has launched a 5 million step challenge and we're asking members to walk 15,000 steps or whatever they can (or want to!) and raise money at the same time.

We've taken our inspiration from the 15,000 step challenge Teenage Cancer Trust have, which is the amount of steps per day the average Teenage Cancer Trust nurse works in their role of supporting young people and their families affected by cancer.

BCIA would like its 160 members to consider what activities they could do to help us raise £25,000 for the charity and at the same time complete 5 million steps!

Thank you for your support!
