Story
BCLP's London office is running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 11 October 2026 to fundraise for our Charity of the Year, Refuge.
Our BCLP runners include: Segun Osuntokun, Sophie Warren, Thomas Pearman, Verity Waington, Fehinti Soyinka and Nick Harding.
Refuge is the UK's largest specialist domestic abuse charity, supporting thousands of women and children every day through its network of safe houses, community services and the 24/7 National Domestic Abuse Helpline.
We hope to raise as much money as possible, and your donations really will go a long way:
£10 could pay for a mobile phone top up for a woman to let her family know she is safe after she’s fled an abuser;
£25 could pay for the essentials when a family arrives at one of our refuges, like nappies, toiletries and food, so they can feel comfortable from the moment they walk through the refuge door;
£52 could provide a woman and her children a safe night's stay in a refuge; and
£100 could provide a survivor staying in a refuge with a laptop, so that in the new year they can return to work or complete a college course.
