Story
Following successful fundraising expeditions in both 2022 and 2023, the BCS team has decided to once again attempt a 'peak climbing' challenge to raise more funds for charity.
For 2024, the team has elected to go on a new challenge, climbing all the peaks of the Langdale range in the Lake District in under 12 hours.
This will take them in succession to the summit of the following fells: Great Knott (696m), Crinkle Crag (859m), Bow Fell (902m), Est Pike (885m), and the iconic Scafell Pike (978m), the highest mountain in England. This route spans approximately 25km with a total elevation gain of 1,800m in high mountain environment.
This year, the team has chosen to walk in support of another great charity, namely Mind UK.
Mind UK focuses on raising awareness in all areas related to mental health. This is a cause we truly believe in, with the entire team fully committed to preparing for and completing the challenge.
Please support our team in this new challenge, no donation will be too small and we greatly appreciate the support.
