Story
After raising over £4,000 for Parkinson's UK in 2022, BCS are once again preparing to embark on a new challenge.
On Friday 9th June 2023, BCS will set out to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge encompasses taking on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres), usually within 12 hours.
This challenge is a 24-miles (38.6km) round trip route, and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent. These hills form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
