Birmingham City University is supporting Acorns Children's Hospice this Christmas.

BCU will be raising money for Acorns Children's Hospice this year as part of its annual Christmas fundraising programme.

All are welcome to join our festive Christmas Carol Service on Thursday 11 December 2025. Attendance is free, please register here. Join us in person at the Birmingham Cathedral.

Acorns Children's Hospice

Acorns supports around 750 children and almost 1,000 families every year. The charity needs to raise £11 million each year to provide its lifeline care. Your support means Acorns can continue to be there for local families facing the unimaginable.

Any amount will make a difference, here’s what your donation can change:

£27 could pay for a child to have a one-hour session with a Physiotherapist

£50 could pay for one hour of Outreach support for the family in their home

£54 could pay for one hour of care for a child in one of Acorns hospices.
