🚴♂️ 20 Miles… on a Unicycle!
This August I’m taking on a challenge that’s probably equal parts determination and madness riding 20 miles on a unicycle to raise money for British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR).
The catch? I haven’t ridden a unicycle for 30 years, so it’s definitely a case of go big or go home! There will probably be a few wobbles (and maybe a few falls!), but it’s all for an amazing cause.
As a medic and a proud member of the BDMLR East Yorkshire team, I’ve seen first-hand the dedication of our volunteers. BDMLR is a charity dedicated to the rescue, welfare and conservation of marine wildlife around the UK, responding to stranded, injured and entangled seals, whales, dolphins and other marine animals.
Anyone who knows me knows just how much I adore seals, so being able to help the charity that works tirelessly to rescue and rehabilitate them means the world to me.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help provide vital rescue equipment, support the rehabilitation of marine animals, fund volunteer training and help ensure our local East Yorkshire team has the resources needed to respond when wildlife needs us most.
Please support me if you can, cheer me on, and wish me luck—I have a feeling I’m going to need it! Thank you so much for your support. ❤️🦭🚴♂️
