We are delighted you are taking the time to donate to the Railway Children Charity. They are a fantastic organisation who provide protection and opportunity for young people at risk of homelessness and abuse.

Every year thousands of children across the UK, India and East Africa run away or are forced to leave homes that have become unbearable through poverty, abuse, violence and neglect. The Railway Children have helped over 300,000 street children over the last 22 years, providing safety, community engagement and strategies for long term support.

Our Beacon Members are taking in a wide range of fundraising activities this year including:

The Yorkshire Three Peaks: Lauren Wrigley, Harry McLean, Viren Walia & Dominic Juner will be taking part in hiking over the course of 13 hours a a 39.2km circular route that climbs all three mountains in the stunning countryside of the Yorkshire Dales - Whernside (736m), Ingleborough (723m) and Pen-y-ghent (694m)

The Porterbrook Three Peaks Challenge By Rail: Irene Gonzalez Romero, Marc Scheidecker, Dominic Juner & Viren Walia will be taking place on the special 20th Anniversary event of the Three Peaks Challenge where they'll tackle Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis over a two day event!

Beacon Bake-Off: We have some committed volunteers who on a regular basis will be showcasing their talents and raising funds through their baking skills!

Beacon 5-A-Side: Our annual industry wide football event! We look forward to welcoming all our participating teams for the 2023 event

Windsor Half Marathon: Viren Walia is taking place in the 2023 Windsor Half Marathon, covering 13.1 miles (21.1 km)

The London Triathlon: Viren Walia & Deniz Kemal are taking part in this year's London Triathlon, covering the Olympic distance level of a 0.93 mile (1.5k) swim, 24.8 mile (40k) bike, and 6.2 mile (10k) run.
