Trekking Mount Yr yddfa (Snowdon) at NIGHT!

Story

On 19th - 20th July - 4 of the Beard Bristol team - Lee Morris, Will Brooks, Jason Perkins and Rozalyn Perkins will be taking part in the Snowdon @ Night challenge.

They will be taking on the highest mountain in Wales, trekking through the night to reach the summit of Snowdon.

They are such an amazing charity, helping children through the grief of someone close (parent or sibling) by delivering therapy in a way that can really benefit a child and their families. They do this through the following means, which is bespoke to each individual and their needs:

- One-to-one counselling

- Group workshops

- Music, art and drama therapy

- Residentials and Family Fun Days

- A National, free and confidential helpline called grief talk offering web chat service too

- Bespoke support for schools, universities and colleges

- A dedicated Trauma Team for support following a sudden or traumatic bereavement.

- Accredited training courses and webinars for professionals

- Award-winning resources including our unique Grief Relief Kit, Grief Encounter Workbook and Journal

They are an open-access charity, funded by the generosity of our supporters, and here to help alleviate the pain and confusion caused by the death of a parent or sibling. Bereavement is devastating at any age, but for a child it is life-changing.
