Hi there, my name is Chris and I've just completed 30 years in Policing for both Devon and Cornwall and West Midlands Police forces.

To 'celebrate' my retirement I intend on undertaking a 1200km solo cycle ride from Roscoff in Brittany, France to Bilbao in Northern Spain in aid of Alzheimer's Society in April 2026.

Sadly, for the second time in our family, we are having to deal with a loved one diagnosed with Alzheimers. On this occasion, my mom Eve who was diagnosed during Covid and is now in full time care.

I'm aiming to raise £1,500 for The Alzheimer's Society who are the leading dementia charity, providing support to those affected by the illness, funding vital research and campaign to make dementia the priority it should be.
