Bea's Birthday (Charity Comedy Night)
On the 29th June 2020, Beatrix Rose Smith was born sleeping.
In honor of her memory, to celebrate her 5th Birthday and in support of all of those who have been affected, we are hosting a Comedy Charity Night to raise support and awareness for Baby Loss and supporting the families impacted.

Twinkling Stars:
Losing a baby is a heartbreak no family should have to endure, yet when it happens, the right environment can make a difference. A dedicated bereavement suite will provide families at Kettering General Hospital with the space and privacy they need to grieve, remember, and begin to heal.
Why This Appeal Matters
Currently, families at Kettering General Hospital who experience the devastating loss of their baby. the only bereavement room is within the labour suite, surrounded by the sounds of new life, making an already heartbreaking experience even harder.
Our Vision for the Twinkling Stars Suite
The new bereavement suite will be located adjacent to the Delivery Suite but entirely separate, providing families with:
- A Private Bereavement Room with ensuite facilities and a cold cot for precious time with their baby.
- A Dedicated Family Room equipped with a kitchenette, sofa bed, and a peaceful, private space for families to gather and support each other.
- A Quiet Room and Office Space for bereavement midwives, where sensitive conversations, such as post-mortem discussions, can be conducted with care and privacy.
