Story
Alive because of the kindness of strangers, Bea lived in hospital for over a year, kept alive by a mechanical heart, awaiting a life-savingheart transplant.
Aged just 2 years old she received the gift of life, a successful heart transplant.
Being able to take part in the Great North Run is testament to the selflessness of blood donors, the amazing team at Freeman Hospital and to all those who join tbe organ donation register.
She takes part in honour of her donor and their parents, through Bea, their child lives on 💗
This year Bea is raising funds for Red Sky Foundation, a wonderful charity who support children like her ❤️
