Story
Here at B&E Boys, a North West building company, we get it—mental health struggles in construction are real and tough to deal with. Did you know 60% of workers report feeling depressed and 58% face stress regularly? It’s often because of tight deadlines, long hours, and a "tough" culture that makes asking for help feel like a no-go. Even more worrying, suicide rates in our industry are nearly four times higher than the national average.
We’re proud to be part of a team backing the Mental Health Foundation, the UK’s top charity focused on mental health for everyone. They’re all about prevention—digging deep to find what causes these challenges so no one has to face them alone. With our "Wear it Green" event coming up on 14 May 2026, we want to shout louder about this cause that hits close to home for many of us.
Mental health issues affect so many lives every day; some of our own team have felt the impact of suicide firsthand. By supporting this cause, you’re helping build a future where everyone can get the support they need before things get tough. We’re aiming to raise £250 and every bit counts toward making sure mental health is taken seriously and supported properly.
Join us in making a real difference—let’s inspire hope and create stronger communities together because everyone deserves to thrive.
