On May 9th I’ll be taking on my first Ironman 70.3 in Mallorca - a 1.9km swim, 90km bike and 21.1km run while raising money for the Glan Clwyd Hospital Cancer Treatment Centre.

My Taidi was diagnosed with myeloid leukaemia in April 2023. After two years in remission, we received the heartbreaking news that the cancer had returned, and we sadly lost him just three weeks later.

The cancer centre at Glan Clwyd Hospital were incredible while my Taidi was going through treatment, and I want to raise money to help them continue supporting other families going through same journey.

My Taidi was the kindest, most hard-working man I knew. He always made everyone’s day brighter and was my biggest inspiration.
