We want to live in a world where the experiences of miscarriage, baby loss and infertility are understood and support is accessible and widely available. We support the emotional and physical wellbeing of those with these experiences. We welcome you, with heavy hearts and open arms.

Story

Hi I‘m Becca. Since August 2024 I became Mum to brilliant little Úna. Well at least that’s what most would know about me. What I haven’t shared widely up to now is that I’m also Mum to two babies who we lost in 2023. I am now taking up the challenge of running London Marathon at the end of April 8months postpartum to raise money for the charity The Worst Girl Gang Ever (TWGGE) which was paramount in my moving forward after our losses.

Pregnancy loss is incredibly common with an estimated 1 in 4 pregnancies ending prematurely. However, it is still a taboo topic in our society. This leads to a feeling of isolation and missing validation of our grief. TWGGE has made it their mission to end the stigma around miscarriage, babyloss and infertility so that there is no more isolation and no more feeling like our grief is disproportionate to our loss and so that people know the right words to say and stop saying ‚at least...‘ which invalidates our pain.

The TWGGE Podcast and workshops were my lifeline in the months following our losses and I still listen to them weekly. They gave me the medical knowledge and confidence to find answers and fight my corner in front of doctors and medical staff. I was therefore able to take action myself when commonly in the NHS you’re not offered help until you’ve experienced THREE SUBSEQUENT losses. (Just let that sink in)

I would love for you to support me in raising funds for this cause that is so close to my heart. Your donations will enable Laura and Bex - the founders of TWGGE - to continue their incredible work and offer their workshops to a wider public.

Let’s end the stigma together 💪

And for anyone who would like to listen in or share with someone they know who has been affected by pregnancy/ baby loss or infertility - and you will most definitely know someone:
