National 3 Peaks Challenge · 5 July 2024

LDN London is an award winning charity for people with learning disabilities in London. We have extensive experience of working with families and both children and adults with a range disabilities. Placing special emphasis on the promotion of effective relationships with families.

Story

15 Talan colleagues, are looking to complete the National Three Peaks challenge on the 6th/7th of July. We'll be hiking up the biggest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowdon) and travelling between each of the peaks, all inside a 24 hour window.

This means some of the hiking will be at night and we'll be trying to catch some sleep whilst travelling between the mountains.

Learning Disability Network London is a charity which supports adults and children with learning disabilities and their families across London. They provide different levels of support, from a few hours a week up to round the clock care.

They believe that every person with a learning disability has the right to stay healthy, be safe and live well and have access to the same opportunities as everyone else.

Their services include supported living, domiciliary care, residential care, outreach and respite. They help people we support and their families to choose what’s right for them.
