Story

Help Us Support Men Facing Testicular Cancer!

We are thrilled to be taking on the challenge of running the Cheltenham Half Marathon! We're not just running for the thrill of it but for a cause that means a lot to us: It's in the Bag Cancer Support.

Why This Cause?

It’s in the Bag is an amazing charity that provides invaluable support to men diagnosed with testicular cancer across the South West. Their work includes awareness campaigns, providing information and emotional support, and offering practical assistance throughout treatment and recovery. Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young men, and catching it early can make a huge difference. This charity helps men understand the signs and symptoms and supports them through one of the toughest times of their lives.

Our Journey to the Half Marathon

Training for a half marathon is no small feat, especially when juggling work, family, and daily life. We’ve been putting in the miles, facing the ups and downs, and pushing through the pain—all with one goal in mind: to make a difference. Every step we take on race day will be dedicated to those who are battling testicular cancer and to raising awareness about this often overlooked disease.

How You Can Help

We need your support to make this journey a success. Our fundraising goal is £600, and every donation, no matter how small, will help us reach it. Here’s how your contributions can make an impact:

£10 could provide a support pack for a newly diagnosed patient.

£25 could fund a patient support session.

£50 could cover the cost of producing educational materials to raise awareness.

£100 could help fund research and development for better treatment options.

Your generosity will provide hope, support, and potentially life-saving information to men facing testicular cancer in the South West.

Thank you for joining us in this important goal. Your support means the world to us and to those who benefit from It's in the Bag Cancer Support’s incredible work.

We appreciate every bit of support, encouragement, and donation. We’ll keep you updated on our training progress and race day experience, so stay tuned!

Massive thanks
