Story
We sadly lost mum unexpectedly at the beginning of May. She passed away due to complications from Myotonic Dystrophy which is a type of Muscular Dystrophy.
This disease took away her quality of life and stopped her from doing most simple things towards the end.
We also lost our uncle 3 years ago who suffered from this disease too.
I want to run this marathon in memory of my Mum and Uncle Grahame and raise as much money as possible for a charity very close to my heart ❤️
Muscles.
We use them to move.
Walk, eat, smile, cry.
Pump blood around our bodies.
To breathe in and out.
Our muscles matter.
By fundraising for Muscular Dystrophy UK, I’m helping to fund world-class research into effective treatments, and life changing support for the 110,000 people in the UK living with a muscle-wasting condition.
All donations and support are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
