Running for my second year in a row to raise as much money as I can for people with muscle wasting conditions after losing my Mum last year.

She suffered with Myotonic Dystrophy and I watched her health and mobility deteriorate over the last 20 years. She was only 66 when she passed away.

My 2 uncles also had the same condition. My uncle Grahame passed away 5 years ago and my uncle Colin is still living with it.

Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity for the 110,000 children and adults living with muscle-wasting conditions in the UK. There's currently no cure, and it many cases, it limits lives. MDUK do vital work in funding pioneering research into treatments and cures as well as providing vital information, advice, resources and support for individuals and families living with these conditions.
