In 2021 I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I had a mastectomy, full lymph node removal, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Unfortunately in 2024, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer. The cancer has spread to my bones and liver. It is no longer curable but is treatable. I am back under the care of The Christie which feels like my safe place. I love this place and would like to payback something by raising money for such a great cause which supports so many people. £10,000 is an ambitious but achievable target and one that I would like to reach in my lifetime.

Instead of birthday, or Christmas presents, I am asking people to consider donating, or just donating because it is a great cause. Any amount would be greatly appreciated, and will help The Christie make a difference to people living with cancer.

I will, along the way, carry out some fundraising events to boost funds but I’ve not decided what these are yet! You too could also fundraise to boost my funds!

Once the target is reached, I would raise money for other charities and organisations that have supported me along the way.
