Saffery Inverness fundraiser for Gateway (Highland Homeless Trust)

Saffery Inverness is raising money for Highland Homeless Trust

Saffery Inverness is raising money for Gateway!

Gateway provides housing support, guidance and specialist accommodation to people over 16 years that are homeless and/or in housing need. We help people to live independently and offer on-going support to vulnerable people living in the community.

Story

As part of our firm’s Responsible Business commitment, the Saffery Inverness office has chosen to partner with Gateway as our charity for the year.

Throughout the year, we will be taking part in a number of fundraising events to support Gateway and help make a real difference to vulnerable adults across the Highlands, including:

- Wednesday 6 May – Saffery charity quiz night

- Saturday 6 June – A team from Saffery climbing Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest mountain

- Sunday 27 September – Entering a team in the Baxters River Ness 10K Corporate Challenge

Every donation, no matter how small, will help support the vital work Gateway carries out in our community. Thank you for your generosity and for helping us make a positive and lasting impact.

💛 A message from Gateway

“We are incredibly grateful to the team at Saffery's for taking on this charity climb in support of Gateway. Their commitment means a great deal to us and to the people we support across the Highlands.

Every donation raised will go directly towards the provision of healthy activities for vulnerable adults who are receiving support either in our supported accommodations or outreach housing support service. These services provide stability, safety, and hope for individuals who are often facing some of the most difficult moments in their lives.

It is inspiring to see a local company choosing to invest their time, energy, and teamwork into helping vulnerable adults in our community. Acts like this remind us that when local organisations come together, we can make a real and lasting difference.

On behalf of our staff, our trustees, and everyone we support, I want to thank the team for their generosity and determination. We look forward to cheering them on as they take on this challenge.”
