Story
In April 2026, I will be taking on my biggest challenge yet of running the London Marathon for Alzheimer's Society.
My Gran, Val was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia in 2023. It is absolutely heartbreaking to see this cruel disease take over her and the impact it has on everyone around her. This experience has profoundly changed my perspective on life, alongside unexpectedly losing my Mum in 2017.
As cliché as it sounds, my journey towards fitness began during Lockdown in 2020 with PE with Joe Wicks alongside Dan, Evie and Daisy. This ignited a passion for running, which I pursued with the encouragement of my brother Ryan.
This marathon will be a massive challenge both mentally and physically, but I am ready to give it my all for such an amazing charity that is dedicated to supporting those affected by dementia.
I am aiming to raise £2,500 for Alzheimer's Society, and any support or donations would be immensely appreciated. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those battling this devastating illness.
