Story
I volunteer with a charity called CRESS. Our partners in Uganda work with some of the poorest people in the world, South Sudanese refugees in Rhino and Imvepi camps. The team there have set up 13 Good News Clubs for kids in the camps, teaching them about Jesus. But they are also busy starting up more camps and aim to have 50 camps up and running by the end of this year!
However, they have barely any resources - the group leaders, who are refugees themselves, have just their enthusiasm, a little training and passion for sharing the good news of Jesus. They don't even have bibles suitable for working with kids.
So please help by donating £6 - this will buy a group a children's bible that they will love and which will make a huge difference.
We'd love to raise enough to get each group at least one bible. We'd also love to put a message in each one, so if you are able to donate and would like to send a message please add that when you make your donation - it would be lovely if you would add your name and church. Knowing friends in the UK are supporting them would mean the world to these volunteer leaders.
