Story
I am pleased and excited to be running the London Marathon in 2025 for a fantastic charity, Whizz-Kidz.
As someone who is fortunate to enjoy full mobility, I’m deeply aware that our society does not enable everyone to experience the same opportunities. Young wheelchair users often face challenges that go beyond just physical barriers—from navigating inaccessible spaces to overcoming outdated attitudes. This is why I’m running: to give my support to a charity that empowers young wheelchair users to challenge those barriers. I want all young people to access the same freedom and opportunities that so many of us take for granted.
Please sponsor me and help young wheelchair users to get the equipment, skills, and confidence to go further in life. It’s unfair that young wheelchair users face so many obstacles in their lives. From inaccessible spaces to negative attitudes, it's time to change the status-quo and help to create a world where every young person can reach their full potential.
Please donate as much or little as you can to support this fantastic charity, and help to spread the word and awareness about Whizz-Kidz. This will help more young wheelchair users become independent.
Over 75,000 young people in the UK need to use a wheelchair to be mobile.
Unfortunately, they cannot access the equipment that meets their needs through
local services. Whizz Kidz are the UK’s leading charity supporting young wheelchair users up to 25 years old. They empower young wheelchair users with the equipment, support, and confidence-building experiences they need to take an active role in society. The Whizz Kidz goal is to create a movement for progress towards a more open and accessible world.
Thank you
