At the end of last year my son, Ivor’s classmate, Emma, very sadly died and spent her final days being cared for at Noah’s Ark Hospice. Emma is so very missed by all of her classmates.

In April I will be running the London Marathon. This will be my first ever marathon and I was incredibly surprised to win a place through the Enfield Chasers Running Club Christmas party ballot. I am so grateful—not only for the personal opportunity, but also for the chance to raise money for such a special charity.

Emma’s parents have generously given me their blessing to run in Emma’s memory.
