I am finally running the London Marathon and for the great cause Lupus UK in memory of a fabulous lady Davina Moore-Read - someone who was such a positive influence on so many people. I hope to do her proud and continue to go for things like Davina has helped and inspired me to do all through my life.

Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease where the immune system is dysfunctional and mistakenly identifies the body’s own tissues as foreign invaders, causing inflammation and damage to the body and organs.

Lupus UK is the only national registered charity supporting people with lupus and assisting those approaching diagnosis. The charity offers free information, resources and medical talks, regional support groups across the UK, an online forum with over 32,000 members, a grant program for research and welfare, and more.
